I’m Sofia, a passionate wedding planner with over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, after over 200 weddings and approximately 900,000 photos taken. Before I became a planner, I was (and still am, sometimes!) a wedding photographer, running a photography studio with my incredible husband. Through the years, I’ve been fortunate to witness countless couples tie the knot, each one unique, beautiful, and full of love. But over time, something shifted for me.
As I worked with couples on their wedding days, more and more I started to hear the same thing: even couples who had hired a wedding planner still needed guidance, reassurance, and—most importantly—clarity. In an industry full of noise and sugarcoated promises, what they were really missing was someone who could be honest, transparent, and straightforward with them. Someone who could take the overwhelming load of decisions and budget concerns off their plate.
That’s when I realized: I wanted to do more. So, with a little push from my husband, we decided to start IWE—not just to create picture-perfect weddings (though those are nice, too!), but to be there with the couple every step of the way. I wanted to offer an all-inclusive, ready-to-enjoy experience, where the only thing my couples need to stress about is finding the perfect dress and choosing which cocktail they prefer.
I’m here to make your wedding day as smooth and stress-free as possible. I believe that every couple deserves a wedding that feels like them—from the style to the experience, and, yes, within their budget. Which leads me to an important point: budgets. Every wedding has one, and I’m here to respect it. It might not always be fun to hear, but I’ll always be honest about what’s possible and what’s not. I’d much rather have an open conversation early on than watch you make decisions that could leave a bad taste in your mouth later on.
